Spring 2011 has brought with it a number of exciting events.

In early February, I visited Baylor University to present my work to students in 4 different classes. I presented the Dwellings series and the most recent Pink work as well as Spinning Yarns: Photographic Storytellers, my recent co-curated exhibition.

Mid-February took me to Grand Rapids, Michigan for the opening week festivities for Spinning Yarns hosted at Kendall College of Art and Design of Ferris University. In addition to a gallery talk my co-curator, Anne Massoni, and I participated in a round table discussion led by Darlene Kaczmarczyk, that centered on the historical significance of narrative in photography. The show was well received and we are looking forward to booking future venues. Check out the show at spinningyarnsphoto.com!

My most recent trip to Baltimore Maryland included artists talks and two workshops, one at Maryland Art Place and one at Maryland Institute College of Art. Two new photos for the Dwellings series will be coming to the website soon!

March is bringing visiting artists Susan Mullally and Carol Golemboski to UTSA and taking me to Altanta, Georgia for the National Society for Photographic Education conference.
